Pictometry AccuPlus™ suite of products combines high level accuracy with optimal cost savings. Developed for professionals in assessing, GIS mapping, engineering and transportation, the precision of Pictometry AccuPlus imagery can be certified for authoritative purposes such as tax map generation, street centerlines, building outlines, planimetric data and cadastral data.
The patent-pending process allows Pictometry to provide high-accuracy oblique images, high-accuracy Pictometry AccuPlus premium ortho-mosaics, and high-accuracy LiDAR data for significantly reduced prices. Pictometry’s low altitude, narrow field of view photogrammetric camera system captures over 100 images per square mile with many benefits:
• More actual nadir points
• Less building lean
• Less atmospheric degradation
The challenge has always been stitching that many images into a seamless mosaic. Pictometry AccuPlus process solves this through an innovative use of raw LiDAR data. As a result, once the ortho-mosaics
are complete, we only need to do additional data processing to
generate LiDAR-based bare earth models, DEMs, DTMs and contours at a huge savings for the customer.
Pictometry ACCUPLUS Features
• Aero-triangulated with surveyed ground control suitable for certification
• Horizontal Accuracy: NMAS 1:400, 1-foot RMSE for 4” GSD
• Vertical Accuracy: 0.6-foot RMSE, bare earth
• LiDAR Data: 1.0-meter postings, suitable for 2’ Contours
• Oblique accuracy two to four times standard – the highest available on the market

The Pictometry Advantage
Pictometry is the leading provider of digital, geo-referenced oblique imagery and our technology has revolutionized the aerial imagery industry. Our commitment to customers and quality is second to none, and Pictometry now brings that same revolutionary technology and commitment to the world of photogrammetric products. Pictometry cameras are full photogrammetric camera and lens systems specifically designed and optimized for our proprietary capture process. They are calibrated with a system and standard Pictometry created for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) that is now used at their EROS data center to calibrate digital camera systems.
Pictometry has hired individuals highly experienced in the photogrammetric field. Our ASPRS licensed photogrammetrist has a PhD and years of experience specifically in the generation of high accuracy and high quality elevation and ortho-mosaic products. Our LiDAR operators have been flying LiDAR systems since they first became commercially available. Our photogrammetric team includes many individuals with both years of experience in surveying and mapping, as well as education at the top imaging and photogrammetry universities.
When combining this wealth of experience with the latest and greatest Optech Gemini LiDAR systems and advanced capture technology Pictometry has developed, the result is very high quality and very high accuracy products, all at breakthrough prices.
Pictometry AccuPlus Gives You
ONE-STOP PROCUREMENT
Pictometry provides high accuracy mosaics, obliques, and LiDAR, eliminating cross-vendor issues.
ONE-PLUS-ONE EQUALS THREE
Pictometry’s patent-pending AccuPlus process creates three high accuracy data sets for the cost
of two.
OPTIMIZATION Pictometry’s AccuPlus process captures all three data sets with two flights, better optimizing available flight
windows.
CONTINUITY With all aerial imagery being captured simultaneously, time based differences between data sets are eliminated.
CERTIFICATION All AccuPlus ortho-mosaics and LiDAR products can be certified through locally licensed professionals to meet state certification requirements.
