Charles Mondello, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development
Charles Mondello is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Pictometry. In this role, he provides corporate management direction for the overall development and growth of the company and is actively involved in engineering, production, marketing, and sales.
Mondello’s career has included several leadership roles including Director of Technical Development and Marketing for Earth Data Technologies. He directed the marketing of Litton's Emerge product line and led both government and commercial remote sensing programs at the Eastman Kodak Company. While with Kodak, Mondello was also responsible for the Aerial Systems product line covering film and digital product development and marketing. He worked with the federal government while with Kodak as well, managing large data collection and processing systems. Throughout his career, Mondello has developed and directed various remote sensing programs including film, digital sensor, and output systems.
Widely-recognized by his peers in the profession, Mondello's accomplishments have included selection as the Director of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing's (ASPRS) Primary Data Acquisition Division; as well as his election to serve as the Director of the A/NASA 10 Year Remote Sensing Strategic Forecast. Mondello developed the Digital Aerial Guideline for ASPRS and has received numerous ASPRS Presidential Citations. Most recently, Mondello was selected to serve on the newly formed National Geospatial Advisory Committee led by U.S. Secretary of the Interior, Dirk Kempthorne.
Mondello has a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree imaging science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
